Hillsborough County has developed a map atlas based on the U.S. National Grid so that federal, state, and local emergency responders can use a common georeferencing system in an emergency event. This map series are at three levels of scale and are in PDF file format. It is important that you shall not use any scaling or 'fit to page' when printing these maps so that scaling accuracy is maintained. The contents of this folder include the following:
USNG Instructions.pdf: A 3 page document which explains how to read the USNG coordinate system.
FGDC USNG Grid Reader.pdf: A grid reader for measuring distance on multiple USNG map scales. To be printed 8 1/2 X 11 (No scaling).
USNG_100K Grid.pdf: An overview map of the county along with major roads and water features. To be printed 11 X 17 (No scaling).
USNG_10K Grid 17R LL_LM.zip: Contains 45 maps. Each map represents a 10 kilometer grid and has major roads, water features, and airports. To be printed at 11 X 17 (No scaling).
USNG_1K Grid 17R LL_LM.zip:
